The main objective of this IPTS project was to identify and describe the most promising emerging technologies (currently at demonstration or pilot plant scale) within the industrial sector.
Furthermore, the project aimed to evaluate the potential impact of the implementation of these technologies on the air emissions coming from this sector (potential reduction of air emissions) through the development of different scenarios.
ITA was responsible for the conception of stakeholder workshops for reflection of results of scenarios. Developing appropriate workshop concepts supported the presentation of complex results and communication between scientists, industry representatives and community staff. The project partners were the German French Environmental Research Institute (DFIU) and the Federal Environment Agency Austria (EFA-Vienna).
