A new exhibition at the Vienna Museum of Science and Technology (TMW) focuses on the topic "Energy Transition. A Race against Time". The exhibition, which was created in cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) and will be on display for a year and a half, was officially opened on June 15, 2023 by Federal Minister Leonore Gewessler, TMW Director Peter Aufreiter and curator Jürgen Öhlinger.
Visitors are presented with various problems and approaches to solutions on five levels. Why do we need an energy turnaround at all? What can each individual already do for a climate-neutral future? The exhibition provides a comprehensive overview of many different topics. A small section is also dedicated to fusion energy and presents it as a possible energy source of the future.
