Edition Woldan!

We are delighted to announce the arrival of the first volume of our new series Edition Woldan The series will feature monographs on topics covered by the Woldan Collection: historical travel literature, geography, cultural studies.
The first volume, Die Entdeckung der indischen Thomas-Christen, focuses on the rediscovery of the Indian christians by the Europeans, a contact fraught with conflict.

New loaning system

Starting in 2007 we changed our loaning system to ALEPH.
The main change is the introduction of reader passes, which are now required for using the library. With these you can

• order books via the AAS Online catalogue
• check your data online
• And you don't need to fill in those vexatious lending forms anymore!

At the same time, we also changed the loaning periods.
