At the heart of the AGIDE project are three international hybrid workshops organised in collaboration with academies of sciences around the world. Here, too, a particular concern has been to include a diversity of perspectives in order to emphasise the voices of those who are still often underrepresented in the global discourse. The aim of the workshop phase is to get a clearer picture of the key issues in the field of intercultural digital ethics - beyond familiar clichés and perpetuating stereotypes.

Third Workshop: 24 & 25 October 2023

The Third workshop "Digital Ethics in Practice. Cultural Dimensions" will take place on 24 and 25 October 2023 (9:30/9:00-17:30 CEST) at the Austrian Academy of Sciences, as well as online.

The workshop will continue to concentrate on the project’s main topic – the cultural dimensions of digital ethics - from a more practical point of view. To this end, members of the AGIDE Working Group will hold lectures to highlight the most essential facets of the overall project. Additionally, on the first day of the workshop, AGIDE will host a world café to examine use case scenarios with respect to “a good digital future”.
