A major question in the context of COVID-19 that has so far not received sufficient attention is the one on the role of risk perception and trust. Using US data from PEW, we try to identify risk groups that hold doubts about the necessity of the quarantine measures, thus possibly reducing compliance. Preliminary findings suggest that marked differences exist between the sexes, as well as different ethnicities.
