About

Magdalena is mostly interested in methodological questions related to the measurement of  inequalities in health and mortality and, more general,  in quantifying differences in these distributions beyond their mean values. The other topics that Magdalena´s work focuses on are: amenable mortality in Poland, life-expectancy and health expectancy decomposition methods.

In the framework of the ERC project of Marc Luy  “Levels and Trends of Health Expectancy: Understanding its Measurement and Estimation Sensitivity’’, Magdalena is responsible for the workpackage which aim is to link measures of health to those of a subjective well-being.

Magdalena holds a Phd from the Warsaw School of Economics.
