Around the tombs 3
While often hardly discernible on-site, aerial images show clearly the step construction that is to be found in a number of grave fields, usually in combination with larger structures. These should be seen in connection with the ritual aftercare of the grave’s interior, although the criteria for the restriction of this architectural attachment only to certain tombs are not so clear.
