On the 12^th and 13^th of December 2024, the Austrian half of the project (Max Diesenberger, Leon Pürstinger) welcomed its German counterpart from Tübingen (Steffen Patzold, Ksenia Borisova) to wintery Vienna. High on the agenda were the discussion of important milestones, a visit to the Austrian National Library to see several (post) Carolingian manuscripts from the scriptorium of Salzburg and the ongoing development of a relational database that enables future users to analyse the connections between historiographical manuscripts, its textual elements, their scribes and possible stratigraphic layers. The latter is closely supervised by the ACDH-CH team of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Ultimately, the meeting proved to be a valuable opportunity to refine key aspects of the project and plan upcoming events, such as the HIT online seminars of 2025.
