Introduction to the ERG mission

The ERG (Exploration of energization and Radiation in Geospace) mission is operated by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). It was launched in December 2016 to study the Earth's radiation belts.

After successful completion of the commissioning phase, ERG has entered its science operations phase.

Prof. Katoh has developed a wave-particle correlator on board of ERG.
