Academic background
2021 - Ph.D. in Information Engineering, Dept. of Information Engineering, University of Padova. Supervisor: Prof. Federico Avanzini.
2016 - M.S. in Telecommunication Engineering, Dept. of Information Engineering, University of Padova.
2013 - B.S. in Information Engineering, Dept. of Information Engineering, University of Padova.
During my Ph.D., I have been applying methods from the field of information and communication technology to predict and analyze human performances in localizing sound sources.
Current Research
As a postdoctoral researcher at ISF, I am currently participating in two projects. Within the Dynamates project, I am applying probabilistic inference methods to jointly analyze behavioral and electrophysiological data recorded during a dynamic sound localization task. In the SONICOM project, I am developing auditory models to systematically evaluate perceptual validity of virtual or augmented environments.
