Title: A Walk Through Clifford Analysis
Abstract:
In this talk we’ll take a wander through the foothills of Clifford analysis, which we view as an attempt to do for high dimensions that which complex analysis does for one dimension.
We’ll see the Dirac operator, analogues of the Cauchy integral theorem and connections to mathematical physics. We’ll also see applications to the development of tools (such as wavelets, splines and prolates) for the analysis and processing of multidimensional, multichannel signals such as colour images.
