Interdisciplinary and Comparative Studies in Religious, (Trans)cultural, and Gendered Identities in Medieval and Early Modern Iberia and the Mediterranean (2016-2018) and the follow-up project Writing Religious, Transcultural, Gendered Identities and Alterities in the Medieval and Early Modern Mediterranean (RELGEND) (2019-2022), both led by Dr. Linda Jones, Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona and funded by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Spanish National Research Agency and FEDER (European Regional Development Fund)

Main areas of research


Late medieval sermons and preaching in Catalonia and Aragon, with a special focus on the 14th- century Dominicans; Scholastic discourses, transfer of knowledge and communication; Medieval epistemological communities and sociology of knowledge; Medieval manuscript cultures and sociology of texts; Social and Cultural History; History of Ideas and Conceptual History.
