The article discusses the interplay between acoustic and optical means, of sound and letter, tape and typewriter, soundtrack and letterpress, graphic patterns and tonal effects that distinguishes the early work of Carlfriedrich Claus. It made a primary contribution to the poetic investigation of fundamentals in the experimental literature after 1945.
