Tamil and Maṇipravāḷa texts around Veṅkaṭanātha

International workshop

Topic

This workshop continues the tradition of IKGA workshops dedicated to Vaiṣṇava literature in Tamil and Maṇipravāḷa. It also follows up on the workshop on Veṅkaṭanātha's small treatises in Tamil which took place in Pondicherry in 2019, organized by Suganya Anandakichenin. Like the latter, it will focus on the production by and around the great polymath Veṅkaṭanātha (traditional dates, 1269–1370).
