Dr. Toshikazu Watanabe

Graduated in Indian Philosophy at Hiroshima University in 2004. Sept. 2004-2005 Research Fellow of EKŌ-Haus der Japanischen Kultur e.V., Düsseldorf. Did research on Dignāga's Pramāṇasamuccaya.

Toshikazu Watanabe has been working at the institute since October 2008. His research contributes to the reconstruction of the epistemological school of Buddhism in India and Tibet, in particular to the study of Dharmottara's Pramāṇaviniścayaṭīkā.
