POSTDOC POSITION (F*M) for Sensor Development within the CMS experiment

Betreuer: Marko Dragicevic

Main tasks:

  • Development of radiation hard silicon sensors for calorimetry including simulation studies, laser, source and beam tests

  • Develop characterization methods to study the quality and performance of silicon sensors

  • Develop and optimise automatised characterisation setups for production quality control

  • Active participation in the CMS and RD50 collaborations at CERN

  • Supervision of Master and PhD students within the working group


Applicants shall have a PhD within the field of experimental particle physics. We expect in-depth experience with silicon particle detectors and a good understanding of electrical engineering and information technologies.
