EMBO workshop: "Plant evolution: from origins to diversification on land"
On November 25-27, an EMBO workshop at Vienna BioCenter will bring together a diverse community of scientists investigating diverse plant groups – algae, and spore-producing land plants (bryophytes, lycophytes and ferns) – long neglected as molecular genetic experimental organisms. Group Leader Liam Dolan is co-organizing the event, which will feature presentations by Group Leaders Yasin Dagdas and Silvia Ramundo.
Registration is now open with a deadline of August 25. This will be the fourth in a series of EMBO workshops – Vienna (2016), Lisbon (2018), Bhubaneswar (2022).
