ESQ Faculty member Miguel Navascués, his colleagues and collaborators have published their latest findings in Nature

Miguel Navascués, together with his colleagues at IQOQI Vienna and collaborators at TU Wien, ICFO (Barcelona), University of Geneva, Shaffhausen Institute of Technology-SIT (Geneva), and ICRA (Barcelona) have published their latest findings in Nature

They show that real and complex Hilbert-space formulations of quantum theory make different predictions in network scenarios comprising independent states and measurements. This allows them to devise a Bell-like experiment, the successful realization of which would disprove real quantum theory, in the same way as standard Bell experiments disproved local physics.
