Barbara Kraus

Barbara Kraus is a professor at the University of Innsbruck. Her main research interests lie within quantum information theory. More precisely, her research group is working on multipartite entanglement, the exploration of new applications of entanglement, the understanding of the power of quantum computation, and the verification of quantum computation and simulation. Her research group is funded by the Austrian Science Fund and the doctoral program ALM. She has/is supervised/supervising five PhD students and four postdocs. Postdocs joining the research group would be given the possibility to work on various aspects of quantum many-body systems, such as multipartite entanglement theory and compressed quantum computation and quantum simulation.
