The Pottery Handbook of the New Kingdom (from Ahmose to Ramesses XI) will comprise at least two, if not three volumes. This handbook is based on extensive preparatory work and will be a groundbreaking and comprehensive chronology of the ceramics of a period spanning about 350 years.
This will ensure access to this material even for non-specialists. The scope of the handbook is only possible through intensive cooperation. Cooperation partners include, for example, Janine Bourriau from the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research (University of Cambridge), Pamela Rose (Austrian Archaeological Institute, Cairo [Amarna]), and Sylvie Marchand (Institut français d’archéologie orientale, Cairo), just to name a few.
