Evi Touloupa has passed away at the age of 97. The grande dame of Greek archaeology was a member of the OeAI. Apart from her work on the pediment sculptures of the Temple of Apollo Daphnephoros at Eretria, the sculptures of the so-called Temple of Athena on Kea and on various important bronze finds (including the bronze equestrian statue of Augustus) in the Athens National Museum, she is particularly known for her work on the Athenian Acropolis. From 1982 to 1990, she was the ephorine responsible for the Acropolis, where, among other things, she provided important impulses for the conservation work. The OeAI will honour her memory. R.I.P.
