The Kom Ombo excavation in Egypt is managed by the Austrian Archaeological Institute (OeAI). We are happy to provide our scientific expertise for television and film productions and to arrange suitable interview partners.

For commercially exploited films, the OeAI charges for this effort. The amount benefits the research in Ephesos.

The excavation seasons usually take place in spring and autumn. During this time, the excavation team is on site. If an interview partner is needed outside of the season, and an OeAI staff member has to travel to Kom Ombo for this purpose, these travel expenses will be charged in full.

All permits must be acquired prior to filming. The OeAI does not provide any support in attaining permits.
