»History and Archaeology of Kom Ombo and its Hinterland«

Hybrid Workshop, Cairo/Online

The workshop »Kom Ombo« focuses on the site itself and its hinterland. The main topics will be the history of the site, its research history, finds in archives and museums as well as current research in the temple and the ancient city.

The workshop will provide an opportunity for an informal exchange between scholars from Egyptian and international institutions and try to identify research gaps for further studies in the Kom Ombo region.
