Biographical sketch

Manuela Thurner is an archaeologist specialising in Burgenland prehistory. Her Master's thesis "Mining in the Bernstein-Rechnitzer Window" was awarded the Fred Sinowatz Science Prize of the Province of Burgenland in 2022. Her current research focuses primarily on the use of Burgenland raw materials.
