Biographical sketch

Undergraduate studies of Egyptology, Assyriology and Communication and Media Science at the University of Leipzig; BA-thesis “Words of Near Eastern origin in the New Kingdom lexicon”. Graduate studies in Egyptology at the University of Leipzig, University of Leiden and the Netherlands-Flemish Institute in Cairo; MA-thesis “Horse-riding and riders in the New Kingdom”. Scholarship for studies and the „Exposéstipendium“ of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes) (2015–2019; 2019–2020). Since 2020 Praedoc of the ERC Starting Grant „Challenging Time(s): A New Approach to Written Sources for Ancient Egyptian Chronology“, subproject: 4 New Kingdom.
