ESA's JUICE (JUpiter ICy moons Explorer) mission will carry a total of ten scientific experiments to study the gas giant Jupiter and three of its largest moons, Ganymede, Callisto and Europa. Planned for launch in April 2023 by Ariane 5 and arrival at Jupiter in 2031, it will spend at least three years making detailed observations of the biggest planet in the Solar System and its moons.

IWF Graz participates in the J-MAG magnetometer development with MAGSCA, has calibrated the antennas of the radio wave instrument (RPWI), and is a member in the team of the Particle Environment Package (PEP).
