SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Dayana Lengauer, BA MA, is recipient of a DOC Fellowship of the Austrian Academy of Sciences at the Institute for Social Anthropology and PhD student at the University of Vienna. She completed her master’s degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Vienna. Her current research focuses on emerging practices and socialities among highly mediated groups of predominantly young people in Bandung, Indonesia, who strive to espouse values of peace, tolerance, and justice in increasingly socially and politically polarised environments.
