Biography


Born 1956 in Vienna. Studies in Drama and Romance Philology at Vienna University. Since 1984 collaborator at the Commission for History of Theatre, since 1999 at the Institute of Culture Studies and History of Theatre (Austrian Academy of Sciences). From 2000 to 2007 Head of Administration of the Historical Institute at the Austrian Cultural Forum in Rome.

Theatre, Festivities, Ceremonies at the Habsburg Courts in the Early Modern Period in European Connex, Italian Librettos of the 17th and 18th Centuries.
