Together with the German Academy for Language and Literature in Darmstadt, Federico Italiano and Jan Wagner (Georg-Büchner-Prize 2017) are preparing an anthology that will present a comprehensive insight into the contemporary European poetry scene, which they contemplate in all its languages, varieties and countries of origin – from Albania to Wales. With this aim in mind, they will handle the terms “Europe” and “European” in a broad and inclusive geographical and cultural sense. The main goal of the project is the publication of a multilingual and poly-alphabetical book, which will provide the reader with the original poems and their German translations. The Anthology will be published 2019 by Carl Hanser Verlag in Munich.
