Wir gratulieren Channa Li herzlich zur Bewilligung ihres Antrags im Rahmen des neuen ESPRIT-Programms des FWF! Ihr Projekt „Die Vorleben des zukünftigen Buddha – zur Maitreyaparipṛcchā“ hat im März 2023 mit dreijähriger Laufzeit begonnen.
Der FWF fördert den Exzellenzcluster „EurAsian Transformations – Resources of the Past and Challenges of Diversity“, an dem das IKGA beteiligt ist, mit 9,2 Millionen Euro. Wir freuen uns auf fünf Jahre intensiver Zusammenarbeit in einem interdisziplinären Team, verteilt auf mehrere Institute der ÖAW, die Universitäten Wien und Innsbruck, sowie die Central European University.
Der Tagungsband (open access) wurde von Vitus Angermeier (ISTB/Universität Wien), Christian Ferstl (ISTB/Universität Wien), Dominik A. Haas (IKGA) und Channa Li (IKGA) herausgegeben. Er ging aus dem vom IKGA unterstützten „12th International Indology Graduate Research Symposium“ hervor, das im Juli 2021 in Wien stattfand.
