Short bio

Anissa Strommer was born in Linz, Austria and holds degrees in Languages and Cultures of South Asia and Tibet (BA, University of Vienna), Religious Studies (MA, University of Vienna), Historical and Comparative Linguistics (MA, University of Salzburg), and African History (MA, University of Vienna). She was a project assistant at the Global African Diaspora Studies research platform (University of Vienna) and currently also works at the Department of Buddhist Religion at the Kirchliche Pädagogische Hochschule Wien/Krems (Church University College for Teacher Education Vienna/Krems).

Strommer joined the IKGA in February 2023 as a part-time publications assistant.
