Reading session of selected portions of a first draft of the critical edition (by S. Kania) of the Lokāyataparīkṣā of Śāntarakṣita’s Tattvasaṃgraha XXII including Kamalaśīla’s commentary regarding variants, emendations, and comprehension of problematic passages. An introduction will inform about the aim of the study, the chapter, several observations regarding the Sanskrit of the commentary, the problem of the corruptions, the reliability of the two editions of the text, the history of the Tibetan translations, and of the various glosses found in the manuscripts which are almost never accounted for in the two editions.
