Studied History of Art at the University of Vienna; awarded doctorate in 2017. Researcher at the OeAW since 2002 (initially at the Commission for History of Art, then at the Division of History of Art of the Institute of History of Art and Musicology (IKM), 2013–2019, and at the IHB research unit for History of Art since 2020). Member of the research project “The Vienna Hofburg, 1705–1835), 2005–2016, project leader together with Hellmut Lorenz, 2014–2016. Member of the research project “The Wien[n]erisches Diarium: A Digital Data Treasury for the Humanities” (ACDH–OeAW) since 2017. Local editor of the RIHA Journal since 2010.
