2nd Fusion Day

This year's Fusion Day was being held in the lecture room of the university library at the Vienna University of Technology. Many talks and guests made this an interesting day. The main aim of this event is knowledge transfer. Moreover new acquaintances are closed.

A central topic of the Fusion Day is the experimental fusion device ITER, which is currently being built in Saint-Paul-lez-Durance, Southern France. The objective of the ITER project is to gain the knowledge necessary for the design of the next-stage device: a demonstration fusion power plant. In ITER, scientists will study plasmas under conditions similar to those expected in a future power plant. HERE you can find further information.

Thank you to all participants! We hope that we will see you again next year. Location and time will be published in time on this website.
