NanoTrust Advanced Conference

NanoTrust-Advanced, a project of the Institute of Technology Assessment of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) cordially invite you to the event series on September 14, 2023, around the topic "Innovation and Governance of Advanced Materials".

09:00-17:30 15TH NANOTRUST CONFERENCE

This year's NanoTrust conference is dedicated to policy advice for safe and sustainable innovation: how can technology assessment best support innovation? How is its role changing from risk assessment to active contribution in innovation? And what does this mean for policy advice in the specific case of nano risk governance?

18:00-22:00 15 YEARS NANOTRUST / 10 YEARS NANOINFORMATION COMMISSION (FROM 18:00)

The nano risk governance system in Austria, which NanoTrust has contributed significantly to building for 15 years, has evolved into a consistent process, with the Nanoinformation Commission (NIK) at its heart since 2013. We think long-term successes are reasons to celebrate! Therefore, we invite you to the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the NIK and the 15th anniversary of NanoTrust following the conference.

Where: Austrian Academy of Sciences, Dr.-Ignaz-Seipel-Platz, 1010 Vienna

Participants are kindly asked to inform us about any topics they would like to discuss and concrete recommendations for presentations.
