Epigraphy

The working group Epigraphy, established on  January 1, 2013, is the successor of the “Kleinasiatische Kommission”, which was founded as “Kommission für die archäologische Erforschung Kleinasiens” in 1890 and merged with the “Kommission für mykenische Forschung” in the period from 1974 to 1988. The group focuses on studying and publishing Greek and Latin inscriptions of the classical world with a geographic emphasis on Asia Minor.
