Exotic Atoms (EXA) is a series of international conferences on muonic, pionic, kaonic, and antiprotonic atoms and related topics.


Due to the coronavirus pandemic the EXA 2021 conference was held online  from 13-17th September 2021.

The EXA 2011 conference took place from Monday, September 5th to Friday, September 9th, 2011 in Vienna, Austria.

EXA 08 had two days in common with LEAP 08.


EXA 2005

Monday, February 21st, - Friday, February 25th, 2005, Vienna, Austria.

The conference focused on recent experimental and theoretical developments in various fields such as deeply bound kaonic states, hadron physics, antiproton physics, muon physics and ultra cold neutrons. Future projects as well as new detector and machine developments will be discussed.


EXA 2002

November 28th - November 30th, 2002, Vienna, Austria.

The workshop focused on recent experimental and theoretical developments and future perspectives in the physics of exotic atoms.
