... received her master's degree in Musicology from the University of Vienna. She has worked as a freelancing music historian for various projects at the Austrian Academy of Sciences - e.g. Cantus Network, Mediaeval Music Manuscripts and Fragments of the Austrian National Library specializing in medieval plainchant manuscripts. She was employed as a student assistant at the University of Graz (ZIM-ACDH) where she is currently enrolled in the master's programme "Digital Humanities", focusing on Semantic Web Technologies, Data and Ontology Modelling, X-Technologies and Digital Editions.
As part of the DH Research&Infrastructure at the ACDH-CH, Vera Maria Charvát contributes to the Horizon2020 project CLS INFRA as well as DiTAH in the ERICs and Education (E&E) working group and coordinates the CLARIAH-AT working group "Tools&Methods".
