... received his PhD in Classical Philology from the Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa with a thesis on ancient Greek rhetoric, entitled ‘Isocrates’ Philippus. Introduction, translation, and commentary’. At the Scuola Normale he also worked as a postdoctoral trainee, curating the special collection donated by late historian and classicist Giovanni Pugliese Carratelli. His research interests include ancient Greek and Latin literature, digital long-term preservation, semantic technologies, and natural language processing.

At the ACDH-CH, Massimiliano Carloni is part of the research unit DH Research&Infrastructure. He is a member of the team managing ARCHE (A Resource Centre for the Humanities) and is currently working on the project “RepoLandscape” (PI: Matej Ďurčo), which aims to consolidate and harmonise the Austrian repository landscape. In addition, he collaborates with OpenAtlas, where he is developing an interface with ARCHE, particularly in the context of the graffiti project INDIGO.
