… has been a recipient of a DOC- fellowship of the Austrian Academy of Sciences since June 2019.
After graduating in German studies (with special emphasis on linguistics), psychology & philosophy and ethics (to become a teacher) from the University of Vienna, she worked as a secondary school teacher.
Within the scope of her PhD thesis she investigates students’ and professors’ perceptions of and attitudes towards the oral, variational usage of the German language at the five biggest universities of Vienna. Beside these research interests, she also focuses on citizen science projects.
Since April 2018, she has been an associate member of the Special Research Programme ‘German in Austria. Variation – Contact – Perception’.
One of her current journalistic projects is her linguistic podcast MundART.
