… studied German and Slavic Philologies at University of Vienna and Moscow. During his studies, he got interested in exploring digital methods within the humanities, especially in the field of digital editing. He worked as a teaching and research assistant at the University of Oldenburg in Germany, where he was involved in creating a database on 20th-century Belarussian literary journals. Having returned to Vienna, he currently works as an assistant the Department of German Philology, where he is also responsible for the digital workflow of the critical edition of Arthur Schnitzler’s Early Works – an FWF funded project, that is now supported by the ACDH-CH.

His research focus lies in the fields of digital editing and digital literary studies. He is also interested in applying Semantic Web Technology to literature and actively explores the possibilities of using digital tools in teaching.
