... has worked at the Austrian Academy of Sciences since 1992 in the Commission for Functional Literary Text Types, Commission for the Edition of a Text Dictionary of “Die Fackel”, AAC - Austrian Academy Corpus, Institute for Corpus Linguistics and Text Technology (Large Corpora & Big Data and Literature in Transition groups), Academiae Corpora, Austrian Corpora and Editions, Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities and Cultural Heritage, has done research in textual studies (Karl Kraus, Thomas Bernhard), corpus research (Austrian Academy Corpus, literary magazines), text lexicography (Dictionary of Idioms, Dictionary of Insults and Invectives), digital editions (Fackel, Brenner, The Third Walpurgis Night), with results such as: “Werner Welzig Worte. 28 Reden und 30 Register“; „Anschluss. März/April 1938 in Österreich“; „Schimpfwörterbuch zu der von Karl Kraus 1899 bis 1936 herausgegebenen Zeitschrift "Die Fackel"“; „AAC-Austrian Academy Corpus and Brenner-Archiv: Brenner online, AAC Digital Ed. 2“; „AAC-Austrian Academy Corpus: AAC-Fackel, AAC Digital Ed. 1“; „Wörterbuch der Redensarten zu der von Karl Kraus 1899 bis 1936 herausgegebenen Zeitschrift "Die Fackel"“.

Recently, he has been working on the fully digitalized literary remains of Thomas Bernhard in the working group Austrian Corpora and Editions of the research unit for Literary&Textual Studies in the Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities and Cultural Heritage of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
