11th International Conference on Language Variation in Europe - ICLaVE|11

The International Conference on Language Variation in Europe, ICLaVE, is one of the most important fora for research in the area of language variation in Europe.

ICLaVE aims at bringing together scholars of languages and language varieties spoken in Europe with the purpose of discussing empirical, methodological and theoretical issues in the study of language variation and change on our continent.

Due to recent developments regarding the coronavirus, ICLaVE|11 finally had to be changed from an on-site to an online-only event.

Invited Speakers
Carlota de Benito Moreno: "Never have I ever changed my syntactic system" Annette D'Onofrio: "Sound change in reversal context Insights from production and perception"
Stephan Elspaß & Stefan M. Newerkla: "Austria as a showcase of internal and external multilingualism. Old and new linguistic frontiers"
