Vienna Tours

Meeting Point:3:00 pm for all tours at the main entrance of the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna

  • Option 1: Ephesos Museum: Guided tour through the Ephesos Museum at the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna (ca. 1 hour)
     
  • Option 2: Cathedral workshop of St. Stephen's Cathedral: Guided tour through the catacombs, "Riesentor", St. Valentine's Chapel, roof etc. (ca. 2,5 hours)
     
  • Option 3: "Roman Vienna": Guided walking tour of references to Roman history on the way from the Kunsthistorisches Museum to the Römermuseum (ca. 1 hour). The tour ends at the Römer Museum at the Hoher Markt which can be visited by yourselves afterwards.

1 day trip to Roman City of Carnuntum

8.00 am: Meeting Point: Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna in front of the Maria Theresa Monument (Burgring, 1010 Wien)
8:30 am: Departure

  • 9:30 am: Guided tour to the Amphitheatre of the Civil town, the Heathen's Gate and the Roman City Quarter
  • 12:00 pm: Get together at the Roman Thermae
  • 2:00 am: Visit of the Museum Carnuntinum
  • 5:00 pm: Wine tasting in a vineyard (included)


8:00 pm Arrival at the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna in front of the Maria Theresa Monument (Burgring, 1010 Wien)
