The text should be between 200–400 words (in English). It should include: abstract title, full name/s of the author/s, their institutions and e-mail addresses, as well as three keywords. The content should aim at presenting the subject matter, the objectives, the results and the conclusions of the research. Submission deadline is December 15, 2020.
The abstracts will be assessed by a team of reviewers composed by experts in the relative subjects according to quality and originality for acceptance. Following that and based on criteria such as state of completion of the work, innovation, wider interest etc. they will be selected for oral or poster presentation. All Author(s) will be notified about the acceptance or rejection of their papers until be March 15, 2021.
The oral presentations cannot exceed 15 minutes and will be followed by 5 minutes of discussion.

There will be two special poster sessions during the conference of 2 hours each. In addition, the posters of each session will be on display during the complete conference so that they can be also visited during coffee and lunch breaks. The poster size will be A1 (width 594 x height 841 mm).
Norman Herz Student Poster Prizes
ASMOSIA is pleased to offer the Norman Herz Student Poster Prizes, named after the late first ASMOSIA president. It will be awarded to the best two student posters and will consist of € 300 for the winner and € 200 for the second best.
Students who want to participate in the competition should declare this during abstract submission. The student posters will be evaluated by a group of experts appointed by the Executive Committee.
Book of abstracts
A book of abstracts will be distributed to all participants of the conference. Please note that by submitting a paper you agree to transfer publication rights to the congress organizer of the 13th International Conference of the Association for the Study of Marbles and Other Stones in Antiquity (ASMOSIA) to reproduce and distribute your paper, full or in part, in accordance with the applicable copyrights, worldwide, in all languages and all formats (printed or electronic), without time limit and without license fees, in particular in the abstract book.
The Organizing Committee will take care of the publicationof the conference proceedings which will include posters as well the papers presented during the conference. The terms regarding the release of the conference proceedings will be separetely arranged between the author(s) and the publishing company.
