Susanna Muhr



… is a student assistant who joined the ACDH-CH (then ACDH) in 2017 to work on the lexicographical project Dictionary of Bavarian Dialects in Austria (‘Wörterbuch der bairischen Mundarten in Österreich’, WBÖ) at the research department Variation und Wandel des Deutschen in Österreich (‘Variation and Change of German in Austria’). Her tasks include the study and digitalization (scanning) of literature and the digitalization of quotation slips (Belegzettel).

Before her time at the ACDH-CH, she studied German Philology with a focus on linguistics at the University of Vienna, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in January 2017 and where she is now doing her master’s in Applied Linguistics. In 2014, she did an internship at the ICLTT, where she developed her interest in the research topics and methodology of the digital humanities.
