After finishing his studies at the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and at the Bratislava State Conservatory, he obtained a Bc degree in computer science and pursued his musical education further at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, from where he holds a Mag of Art in classical guitar performance. Besides his university studies, he has worked part-time as a Java developer and taught at an elementary musical school.
As part of the ACDH’s cooperation with the musicology department of the Institut für kunst- und musikhistorische Forschungen, he is working on digital musicology projects such as a digital catalogue of Anton Bruckner's compositions (‘Digitales Werkverzeichnis Anton Bruckner’) and digital music analysis (‘Digitale Musikanalyse mit den XML-Techniken der Music Encoding Initiative (MEI) am Beispiel der Kompositionsstudien Anton Bruckners’) for bruckner-online.at.
