... works as project & product manager for various interdisciplinary projects at the ACDH-CH. He is specialized in requirement analyses, wireframing, communicating between technicians and humanists. He consults incoming project requests and connects experts for the various requests. In his function at the Central Office he is also responsible for the internal communication between different departments and working groups. He also works as technical supervisor for projects across the departments. As a researcher he works mainly as corpus and computer linguist, and especially as digital lexicographer at the linguistics department (formerly Variation and Change of German in Austria) at the ACDH-CH, managing front and back end development of the research platform LiÖ.

His fields of research are variationist, corpus and computer linguistics as well as digital humanities. His dissertation investigates the vertical syntactic variation of Viennese German. He is part of the research team of the FWF SFB German in Austria. Variation - Contact - Perception (F60) and is responsible for conceptualising and developing the internal database and the virtual research environment. Additionally, he advises the SFB members on computer supported survey and analysis methods. Since May 2016 he has been coordinating project part 11, located on the Centre for Translation Studies. Furthermore, he assists in the conceptualization of empirical surveys and with questions on syntactic variation.
