… is a member of the lexicographic research group at the Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities and Cultural Heritage.

During her studies in biology at the University of Vienna, she has been working at the Institute for Lexicography of Austrian Dialects and Names. Having started with the input and editing of linguistic data, she gained insight into the scientific work of dialectologists. Encouraged by her academic background, her interests focused more and more on comprehensive topics concerning scientific issues of both fields, humanities, and natural sciences.

Thus, in the last few years, she spent much time on dealing with various aspects of plant names. Amongst others, she reprocessed the data records for the fungi and some other plants in the database dbo@ema as well as most recently was one of the authors of the Dictionary of Bavarian Dialects in Austria (‘Wörterbuch der bairischen Mundarten in Österreich’, WBÖ).

Currently, she is reviewing and enhancing the annotation of the digital edition of a German–Russian dictionary. Next, she will concentrate on the digital encoding of Viennese dialectal dictionaries from the 19th century.
