ICLaVE|11 changed to online event

Due to recent developments regarding the coronavirus, ICLaVE|11 finally had to be changed from an on-site to an online-only event. The conference will take place from 11-14 April, 2022.

ICLaVE, the International Conference on Language Variation in Europe, is one of the most important fora for research in the area of language variation in Europe. It aims at bringing together scholars of languages and language varieties spoken in Europe with the purpose of discussing empirical, methodological and theoretical issues in the study of language variation and change on our continent.

It is the purpose of the ICLaVE meetings to contribute to an ever better understanding of the complex, reciprocal relationships between language and society. Central outcomes of this, the conference’s eleventh, installment supported by the University of Vienna and the Austrian Academy of Sciences will be disseminated via internationally renowned publication outlets.
